​THE PRESIDENT OF SIERRA LEONE DJ'S UNION (SLeDU) MEETS WITH CROSS SECTION OF EXECUTIVE MEMBERS OF SIERRA LEONE CLUB DJ'S ASSOCIATION (SLCDA)

At an early hours of Today 30th August, 2023 the president of Sierra Leone DJ's Union (SLeDU) Dj Jesse including the national coordinator Dj Master Med and cross section of executive members of Sierra Leone Club DJ's Association (SLCDA) had a fruitful delibration as a way of brainstorming important issues relating to the development of the DJ's fraternity in the country.

It could be recalled that, early last week the president of SLeDU Dj Jesse reached out to the president of Sierra Leone Club DJ's Association (SLCDA) Dj Samboy via email requesting for a meeting to be held with executive members of his association -CDA to discuss progressive things that will benefit both SLeDU and CDA.

In the above mentioned meeting, the president of SLeDU Dj Jesse in his opening remarks welcome members of CDA noting that, he is very happy for CDA responding to his request, and further emphasized on the important or reason for the said meeting.

He further went on to say, " Two things prompted the meeting"

1. The need for Sierra Leone Club DJ's Association to affiliate with sierra Leone DJ's Union AND 

2. The discussion on putting up strategic mentions of playing sierra Leone music both club and radio.

He went on to explained the importance of the affiliation throwing reference on the need for national unity amongst Djs in the country.

Responding to the quest of the president of SLeDU Dj Jesse, the president of Sierra Leone Club DJ's Association Dj Samboy and the National secretary general Dj whiter B welcome and embraced the ideas brought by DJ Jesse, noting that unity is strength and together we are, the stronger we be as a United Force.

Dj Samboy further congratulated the newly appointed president of SLeDU for his loudable intiative to think about CDA affiliating with SLeDU, as this will serve as a stepping stone towards the progress of DJing in the country.

Finally, both parties (SLeDU and CDA) agreed to decenminate the information to their various membership and propose for subsequent meetings that will be finally climax with an MOU signing.
