KAKAMOI YOUTH & CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION

THE FIRST POLICE OFFICER AS SUB-INSPECTOR MOHAMED KAKAMOI OF THE SIERRA LEONE POLICE FORCE  PARTNERS  WITH SAHR KORTU MOMODU TO SUPPORT THE FREE QUALITY EDUCATION PROGRAMMED IN SANDOR CHIEFDOM


In a well-attended meeting at Words town by Sections and Town Chiefs, Mammy Queens,  Pupils, youths, Bike riders, and more, the Mohamed Kakamoi, and S.K Momodu's team paid respect to Traditional Leaders, promote sport and boost other development in Sandor Chiefdom while the KakaMoi foundation that which was latter named KakaMoi  and SK. Momodu Foundation was officially launched on the 18th of April 2022.

In his statement, Inspector KakaMoi declared that his passion is to support the government and payback to his community.  As he  humbly served the nation in and out of the country. "When he returned from Somalia, he deemed it fit to play a part in a form of contribution to developing my country; and that must start at home."   He said.

In his presentation, he said that he and his partner SK. Momodu presented One thousand one hundred and fifty  (1,150) books, Pens, and pencils for pupils of the nine sections in Sandor chiefdom. He also presented eight (8) bags of rice to the section chiefs and Mammy Queens, three ( 3 ) different sets of Football jerseys, and five ( 5 ) Football to Wordu and Seidu villages in the Sumumjife section. Finally,  he presented that, they would construct a  modern hand-dug well at Kassechendedu that which started - 19th Apil, 2022; and they would also Maintenance all the seven (hand-dug wells in Wordu town.

 And lastly,  a  Football competition was also staged among the six (6) sections in Upper Sandor that which costs MILlON OF LEONES; and the Sinkongoefeh section won the final competition by a goal to nill against the host - Sumumjife section. The first-winner price was One Million Five Hundred Thousand Leones(1,500,000)

In his partnership with SK. Momodu said that,  when he returned from Somalia, he had wanted a development Partner to work with and the people of Upper Sandor recommended SK. Momodu to him as someone who would be able to aid him to succeed in achieving his developmental plans for the people of Sandor. Hence he has been doing a lot for them and still he is the highest individual developer from a private fund. 

He finally and repeatedly said that he is not a politician, but a police officer for Sierra Leone and remains humble and dedicated to serving his country at all costs and times.

On the part of SK. Momodu, he appreciated the stakeholders and Sub-Inspectortor Mohamed KakaMoi for joining him to develop upper Sandor and Sandor as a whole. 

He said that,  development is the most impactful thing one can do as a descendant of any community. He promised to work in line with the request of the people in the chiefdom at every given time. 
He promised a change in the lives of the Sandor people through his partnership with Sub-Inspector KakaMoi

SK. Momodu further said that he would give and support the Foundation with all his might to ensure practical and various sustainable, and needful developments in the chiefdom.

He advised Inspector KakaMoi to be steadfast and not listen to side -  comments but the interest of the people must be a priority above all else.

He ended by saying that they would transform Sandor through development, peace, and cohesion. Hence they are together, greatness will always be the result. He encouraged all, especially the youths to focus on the development of the land and not politics.


Statements were obtained from the representative of the Paramount Chief, Chief F.T KakaMoi, section chefs' representative, Mammy Queens' representative, youth, teachers, Parents' representative, and all present, including headteachers and pupils. They all appreciated their son’s - SK. Momodu and Inspector KakaMoi  and  vowed to give them their total support in developing the chief dom.

The occasion ended with joy and the distribution of the donated items among  sections and villages.

The pupils and teachers appreciated all donations and pleaded for continuity as it is timely and  they need them for the promotion and actualization of the FREE QUALITY EDUCATION.
